Read the passage carefully and translate it into Chinese.1. Online learning is no easier than learning in regular classrooms. In fact, many students say it requires much more time and effort. Requirements for online courses are no less than those of regular quality courses. Successful students, however, see online learning as a convenient way to receive their education—not an easier way. Many online students sit at computers for hours at a time during evenings or weekends in order to complete their assignments. The time when other people are finished and having fun is most likely the time when online students do their course work. Online students need to commit 4 to 15 hours a week for each course.

Directions:
For this part, you are required to write a short essay based on the picture below. You should start your essay with a brief account of the impact of the Internet on the way people communicate and then explain whether electronic communication can replace face-to-face contact. You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words. "Dear Andy—How are you? Your mother and I are fine. We both miss you and hope you are doing well. We look forward to seeing you again the next time your computer crashes and you come downstairs for something to eat. Love, Mom and Dad."
[范文] Electronic Communication Cannot Replace Face-to-Face Contact
The picture above is a vivid description of the phenomenon that teenagers and their parents are usually communicate through the Internet Although the Internet has changed the ways of communication, I do not think that electronic communication can replace face-to-face contact.
Firstly, face-to-face contact is much better than electronic communication in terms of enhancing parent-child relationship, for the former can better guarantee honesty of the communication. Secondly, face-to-face contact can make people concentrate on what they are talking about. So people can think about the problems seriously. Last hut not least, face-to-face contact can eliminate distrust between parents and children because both sides will not he suspicious about other's intentions if they can talk with each other in such a direct way.
To sum up, the Internet has greatly influenced the ways of communication, but it can never replace face-to-face contact.
