[范文] Blind Date is Not Good
With young people busy making money, parents set up blind dates for them. Some people say it's a good idea because it saves the young people time to find a partner themselves. However, other people disapprove by saying that those dates are blind and they are not what young people want. Being young myself, I agree with the latter.
Firstly, those dates are blind dates, so the two don't know each other, and thus have no feelings for each other at all. Therefore, such dates are not romantic at all and they are not what we young people really want. As one of the young, I want to date someone whom I have known for quite a long time and I really appreciate. If my parents find some guy I have never met before, I'd feel awkward and unsafe when dating him. I don't know him and he knows nothing about me. If he is really of good character but not of my standard of lover, the result would probably be that we turn out to be just friends instead of lovers.
Secondly, some people may argue that even though the two blinded know nothing about each other, if they date for a long time, they will have more time to get to know each other. However, we must be clear that the young people are busy making money and they've no time to find a date for themselves. How come they can have enough time to get to know someone else who is neither his workmate nor his friend? As we can see, quite a number of young people find workmates to be life partner, because they can see each other every day and their arrangement of time is almost the same.
All in all, blind dates usually set the young people up with someone they don't know. It's much better for the young themselves to find someone they love. After all, love is not arranged.
