Ⅴ.WritingDirections: In this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a composition on the topic "Advertisements". You should write at least 120 words and base your composition on the outline below:

3. My opinion.
Advertisements
Advertisements is an efficient means to keep people informed of a variety of information they need. The purpose of an ad is to increase awareness and stimulate interest. Needless to say, ads play a significant part in today's commercial society. Advertisers can make people get familiar with what they promote within the shortest time and in most possible large numbers. Customers can find what they need by reading ads. Ads even may help you to have a desired to-be-wife girlfriend. In all, ads are really a most convenient way to push forward the interaction between sellers and buyers. Business would be hard without it.
Every sword has two blades. Ads also carry disadvantages with themselves. Many ads are intentionally misleading by employing vague and inaccurate words to trap consumers. Some businessmen don't live up to their claims in ads, cheating customers. Too many ads in the running of a film may hurt the continuity. Some medicine ads at lunch time may disgusted people. What's more, some indecent ads may harm the young generation. Recently we have often heard the term "urban psoriasiss"—illegal printed and posted ads, which damage the image of our city quite a lot.
In my opinion, ads have become an indispensable part in our daily life. And its positive effect on current society is also self-evident. However, we should try hard to keep the honesty and legality of them. In addition, people will like more to see ads at proper place and time.
